Considering the Supertune Avanti TT3 kit comes with a head as well, it looks remarkably good value.

(others might... I've not looked at them)

Ok.. so its not that bad then the pricing. I had a look and the top spec RT TS1 is nearly £900 and by the looks of it the kit above is a 2 port ally piston port barrel for £736?
The MB cranks are expensive too but good quality I am sure and something MB would recommend with his kit. I have to say fellas its not looking too bad to me. The pipe is dearer sure and for the reasons I posted.

Have a look at high end smallie stuff these days.. falc kits are now £600,cranks £534 and are not a direct fit.. the clutch is £327 and the pipe £465 from sip.

The SM of course comes complete with a head. Its vital to the whole thing.
I am sure some graphs will be out there soon.. and I would expect a demo bike too. (thats what i would do anyway)

A Honda RS125 race cylinder will see no change from three grand, on its own.

I know... I have seen em and worked on these motors.
lauro (falc) did his own one for 1600 euros though. He was a HRC technician.

I've blasted it down the road and it works straight put of the box.
Fantastic kit and looking forward to seeing what others can get out of it too.
All is good down the cow shed.I'm surprised nobody else has thought of the extra fining like on this kit though.

To be fair.. other dealer(s) have invented things like stainless steel and pistons, without getting their knickers in a twist

i know the ron moss kit has more potential than for what i will use it for but im favoring it for its simplicity and cooling ability.

the ron moss clubman liberated my sluggello so ill be using it on the ron moss kit when im ready to keep it as lambretta ish as possible....and im going to give the tried and tested 24mm mikuni a go with it. i know ill lose a bit of power but its never enough to worry about if used on a decent kit.

i imagine the supermonza is more powerful but thats not everything and im not keen on having to buy EVERYTHING on the menu. makes it a few grand compared to a ron moss onto my existing motor for 500, i simply dont have the budget anymore for £2-3k motors.

ron so far has been easy to deal with and is a regular humble fella which is a pleasant change too.
