I set mine up on the road as thats where I ride it!

did you do it by plug chops at different throttle settings?

Ideally set up on a dyno but saying that i set mine on the road.
Try this way.....
Once power jet is fitted go down on your main by about 5-8 sizes and basically road test with the power jet closed until you have found the richest needle/clip position you can get away with without splutter. Do not push the bike hard or go above 2/3 throttle.....the idea is to find the richest needle while being able to run clean so you only need to ride at low revs.
Then once this is done turn power jet to 3/4 of a turn out to start. and gradually turn it down a whisker at a time until safe running without lots of splutter or boggyness is achieved while doing plug checks etc.
It doesn't always work as easy as this because the length of the powerjet tube affects when the powerjet comes in on the throttle and also having a big brass tube in the venturi can knock out other settings too because of the airflow being changed.

I had a rich spot which I cudnt get rid of thru normal jetting, the power jet sorts that out immediately,

I just ordered one as well on the strenght of this tread and was wondering would having a ramair filter on my TMX35 effect the running of the dial a jet and aside from drilling and taping the bell mouth do i need to do the same for the float bowl on a TMX35.

Is it a dial a jet or a power jet that you have bought Des?

Think people mean dial a jet but getting confused and calling them a powerjet

I ordered the adjustable power jet kit from the greek guy on ebay

I did....mine came today ....might not fit it now though as I have changed my exhaust and it seems to be ok....for now...Its always there if I do decide to use it though

How are people getting along with the Ebay adjustable jet, fitted and running well, easy set up and are they recommended?

The tube that hours into the bore looks shorter than the camlam one, might have to try and position it c nearer the slide to get it protruding enough
