I can't see it being viable if every time shoes need replacing, we have no other source other than yourselves :?

how often do you have to replace shoes mike? onc every 2 years?.
i personally cant blame him not giving his secrets away as he has bothered to do this all on his own, would you tell your customers were and how to get anything you use.

Fair point Mark. I think too far ahead sometimes, but as this is a consumable part that's probably not too expensive, I'd prefer to have an alternative source rather than one source in Germany. Saying that I have the SIP caliper on one of mine and as far as I'm aware only SIP do the pads, but there are UK suppliers of SIP parts. And how many people ask for a part number for the ScootRS pads; however, if this is a standard Lucas part then I'm sure it'll be reasonably easy to trace ;-)

the big problem is still there when you do find the part number as lucas have now gone!
