Which is why i was asking him for the full set up.
Not trying to tell him to run 4.8 , on his set up ( limited details etc) it SHOULD run 4.8 easily , that is why i feel there may be other factors here , which need addressing before jumping to 5.2 .
May be needs re jetting , compression issues , timing it all matters , so just changing the gearing might help but again it may not lol.
By the way on my ts1 spec sheet from AF they recommend 4.8 to run with a fresco, or 5.2 to run with a NK. I would have thought the jl3 would have more torque than a fresco?

if u hav one or can borrow one put a 90 tyre on it it will take u near on back to standerd gp gearing
