78mph at Elvington, V1 Mugello with abit of work ;) 32mm carb JL4 and geared for racing not top speed.

I know you scoff at my statment and i'm no stanger to sports bikes and others but.....
For a 40 year old scoot with a near standard motor ;) not fettled by anyone just matched and set by me and is my first scoot engine build other than and LD ...

They really do have bags of potential ( iron stage 4's) .
Jl3 or 4 mikuni tm24, 5.2 indian 200 gearing , tuned by mr brady , genuine 70mph .
Good thing was i could run the jl3 for touring and the jl4 for hooliganism and revs!!!

It was still on the 30 PHBH and that was before you tuned it further Jason. Basically my road muggy with a JL4 on it.

So it sat at 7,000 rpm all day, Had it's top speed at aprox 8,350 rpm, and had at least 23/25 bhp at those revs to pull 87 mph.

From an iron barrel 200 . . . . . I'm impressed!!!! :mrgreen:
