fitted my replacement MB speedo, bought the BGM regulator as well so run it off the DC output, works fine , ran the rev counter pick up along the wiring loom and wrapped it around the ht lead about 2" form where it exits the CDI.

Mine is ok in workshop, when I take it outside it starts to mist up in the centre but does clear up after a few miles.

Had the misting on mine at first, used it today and it was perfectly clear, speedo reading is fine only done about 100 miles with it but so far so good.

Running DC off a battery

I went out on scooter on wednesday night and the speedo worked up to about 35mph then started going erratic. I also have the rev counter showing on the read out. I changed the rev read out to the mileometer and the speedo worked ok at all speeds. I also had my gps forerunner strapped to handlebar to compare and all speeds were the same between the two. I'm beginning to think the rev counter is interfering with the speedo....could just be a theory though
