Hi mate,if it helps,the info i was given when got my kit done was bore clearance needs to be 0.05mm-0.065mm. Thats worth checking on these kits,mine was with a Mahle piston but on asso it may be different.If using a Mahle,you can run just the two top rings aswell rather than all three.Tosh wrote:thanks soosh for that,and all who replied going to call at chaps across the road from our works,performance pushrods who i speek to him regular hope he can fit my brothers in,he also has a web page re builds old motorcycles from the ground up,he buys conrods then machines the webs from solid blocks and them balances them,very handy gent to have around but i know he`s flat out at mo with work.
