Ive just got back from a day trip to Blackpool on the GT kit, another 230+ trouble free miles covered in a short space of time.

I'm about to have a look at the video footage captured :)
Took it for a short spin to make sure ok and seems fine, Hunstanton tomorrow for Mods n Rockers which is around a 100 mile round trip so that'll be a decent test.

Let us know how you get on with the 125 main in it......I am starting off with a 135 as the 125
is too lean..... Do a plug chop after 50miles and post a pic of the plug color 8-) Ta very much.
G.
Riding in a large group tomorrow so not sure I'll get to use the main jet much but I do need to do some chops. I've done 1200 miles on this kit so far and no issues until last week, but think you maybe right that it could be slightly lean although 135 seems a little on the large side?

G, I know you ride on the main jet, for running in don't go lower than a 135 is my opinion, you may find when you have it run in and get to ride it how you ride that you may even go up higher, i'm currently on a worn 145.

Didn't get the opportunity to do a plug chop today but this is what my plug looked like when I did stop, did just over 100 miles on a new plug, most of the last 50 miles was at 3/4 throttle. Will play about with main jets and plug chops at some point this week and will post the results

Thanks Ducksta,
obviously they don't all run that well all the time, we have our moments like everyone else but we carry stuff between us to fix just about anything.
