The GT kit successfully did the LCGB AF S type 50th anniversary rally this weekend, another 330 miles under its belt. This weekend due to the very windy weather and being 2upwith luggage ive held the throttle fully open for long periods and its been fine. Its defiantly got enough miles on the bore now to just ride it on the stop like a thespa, if it keeps going like this im going to have to record the current set up and start doing some more changes to the tune.

GT kit, Kheper and RT1000 tacho unit are all doing much better than my arse.

Quick thanks to the LCGB for another fantastic weekend and AF for still doing S types after 50 years :)

GT kit got back from IoW an hour or so ago, another 370 miles under its belt and the miles back home where hard miles for it due to us GTS hunting all the way home :)great fun.

Got off the ferry in Southampton at 10:30, filled up just down from the port, filled up again at Sutton Scotney, not because we needed fuel by then just so we would then make our target fill up on the M40 at Cherwell Valley services.
22 miles to Sutton Scotney services from the port, put 2.4 litres of fuel in.
70 miles from Sutton Scotney to Cherwell Valley services, put 6.8 litres in got there at 12:20 and left after 12:40
72 miles from Cherwell Valley to home for 1:45

The GT ran very well and was even more economical traveling constantly over 70 mph.

Big thanks to Chris B, was good ridding with you today :)

video to follow ;)

big thanks for that :) I was preoccupied thinking about the fact I had put enough oil in for 5 litres of fuel and only got 2.7 litres of fuel in. Chris had done the same so we contemplated taking it easy for a bit but as my temp reading were still good I decided not to bother ;p

PS you have a very nice Lambretta :)

And passing me at 12mins, I can vouch for the 70mph cruising of the big block GT kit, I was sitting at 55-60mph and Eden and his mate shot past me!
