Breathing sweet becomes a chewing gum as engine warms up and risks of collapse are great if rubbing against panel...
find a 60 mm ext tube to joint ramair and stiffen the whole thing. I'll probably cut it at the first bellow mark to get it even stiffer.

I received cylinder and FW cowl. obviously cheap repros..... Cooling needs a good sealing treatment... between mag flange and cowl is a 1mm space, between the 2 cowl is a 0,5cm gap... All this p155 me off..
I'll cure mag cowl space with a 1mm thick heat joint stuck in the inner side of the cowl. I'll try to cut the cylinder cowl and bend it against the mag cowl to get the whole thing more tightly fitted.
I put 2 T5 cylinder rubbers to avoid rattling noise between cowl and cylinder:

i notice that you havnt fitted the dust cover onto the flywheel ? ...any reason why not as i would have thought that it also would aid the cooling air to flow in better

it was just a trial.... trying to get the best of the cowls....
I hammered the cowl hedge to overlap the best I could those 2 holes remaining when everything is fitted. This is an "in progress" step....

I'm a bit hesitating over choosing my CDI unit...
I have an "old" mitolambretta Mytronic in a rather fine condition: 8 curves one or two are very good. Needs a standard CDI. Or a complete programmable CDI unit named Kheper. It's a fanstatic CDI wtih 45000 V delivery (where std CDI gives hadly 25000V) and any curve I want....

a bit more expensive compared to a std cdi but what an improvement.....

i've a strange click-a-click noise when spining my rear hub in neutral. As if 2 pieces in metal were rubbing against each other. Noise is stronger in the running way and slightly lower the other way... Any idea? brand new cruciform rubbing against 1st and 2nd gears?
