I have on the top, so at its leanest, so should go for a leaner needle is that X7 and start on bottom clip?

X13 top clip and X7 second from top is very similar when looking at needle profile and given throttle position. No need to start from bottom up.

It's fantastic, really pleased with it.
I've changed from 17/46 to 16/46 on the sprockets as I'm 112kg in weight and was finding it hard to get on the pipe in 4th (fran race) but with the 16 on the front it's perfect.

I've not had it dyno'd so can't say for sure, but on Rich's figures he's expecting mid 20's with an expansion I think.

Latest (v4?) bgm DC stator with a elemec flywheel. Using a kheper cdi but also tried it with a cheap scootopia cdi which also seemed fine.
Tried a scootronics stator but it didn't work we'll for me, likewise with the external pickup, they didn't seem to play well with the kheper.

I reckon the problem is the external pickup rather than the stator, my external pickup wouldn't work with an Mtech either. Mr Tambs said as much on his FB page but a bit disappointing he didn't mention that before hand.
