Chinese steel manufacturers threatens US steel manufacturing, so the US impose 500% import duty on it. Chinese steel manufacturers threatens British steel manufacturing, so the EU lends them money to help produce cheap steel. It's no wonder most of our industries are gone with EU backing like that. We need to get out now, before our wonderful little Isle is swallowed into an EU superstate.

Except the EU tried to impose tariffs on Chinese steel and that nice Mr. Osborne vetoed it. The Tories killed UK steel, not Europe,

One of many examples. Like the EU paying Ford to move its Transit plant to non EU Turkey. The EU protects UK jobs....my arse.

The Tories or unions debate is long gone gents.
What we need to decide is EU or not.

It isn't the EU that was blocking the imposition of higher tariffs on Chinese steel though is it? it is Britain and some other countries who are happy to benefit from low steel prices that are pushing to keep the tariffs low. Sometimes you have to take responsibility and stop blaming others for the mismanagement of your country, you're perfectly capable of f@@king it up for yourselves it's not always the immigrants or the Eurocrats fault.

So we've established Cameron and Osbourne couldn't run a bath. Remind me why they should be trusted with the UK's long term future? Bearing in mind they and their government can be voted out in 3/4 years time. Who will vote out the self appointed EU leadership?

European Commission consists of commissioners appointed by each member state, they can be got rid of by a vote of the European Parliament who are directly elected by you and I, the European council are the heads of state that we all get a vote to elect or not as the case may be, its as democratic as anything else and whatever way you look at it they are all democratically accountable. There are no self appointed EU leadership they are all appointed by us or the people who were voted in by us. There is a Civil Service but we don't vote for Civil Servants where I come from I assume you don't either.

By "self appointed leadership", my assumption was a referral to the the FOUR presidents... so how, through "this democratic as anything" system can we depose these leaders if we deem that they are not serving us correctly?
