Oh dear Tony. It looks like your weekend was not good for your paintwork. Did you find the oil on the Sunday?
That's a shame. Is the damage limited to the brake lever and the front mudguard? Are you OK?

We were stood up by the woodland part of the track. We saw a White line appear on the racing line, which after two or three laps widened and turned blue ish just after that the leader on the 350cc bike race, on the last lap, hit the oil he slid off and the bike flipped a 360 onto the grass. The lap before me and my mate Dave were saying this looks dangerous they could do with stopping the race and cleaning the oil up.
We didn't know rill later that it was most of the way around the track and on the racing line as well.
When the scooters finally got out it was hard to realise just how bad it was out there judging by the speeds of the scooters, the leading few back to Keith Terry were flying round.
Tony was picking up places as he came round past us then we didn't see him, we thought he might have had an off or burnt a clutch out.
p155 poor weather, but the scooter race, when it finally got started was worth it.
Tony was looking good for a top three finish.

I was 24th on grid.. I had the german and austrian guys 2 rows ahead of me. I decided now with the bike all sorted it was time to get going
So by Park Corner I was second. Only Charley ahead by 2 secs or so.. through the woodlands safely with just Barn corner to go and not even on the throttle it let go. The oil was everywhere. The line (and later Josh Brown) i was taking led me onto the oil and that was that.. Josh fell in the exact same place a lap later. The track was an ice rink.
Anyway.. bike being painted as we speak. And in terms of development its getting there.
Here is a quick clip of that first lap with Charley leading and me second.

I'm ok ta mate. The headset got broke again but can be repaired.. under the trim its all scraped away and only the side door and the mudguard.. its all being painted as I type. It was the oil that cause it.. i reckon I was doing 20mph when I fell. Oh well... at least i may have the clutch sorted at last
