you like the chrome look powder coat mate, I ruined mine on the wheels and rims as I used wheel cleaner to get the crud off which made them dull and flat

I had the forks coated whilst contemplating whether to use dampers with an anti dive brake, but now I'm using the German CNC damper brackets, you can see the marks where I've put them on and removed them as the coating is a three stage process and quite thick. The brackets are spot on for alignment, although any brackets seem to touch the inside of the mudguard, some spacers should help with this. I'll post some pictures once assembled
Lesson learnt there Andy, warm water only, although brake cleaner doesn't do any harm, but strictly no abrasives

Yep i know whitch one it is now. When's it going to be finished

It'd be nice forAugust Bank Holiday, but that might be pushing it...
I got the forks built today, the top damper brackets toe in a bit to help with mudguard clearance, I'm not keen on this so will look at spacing the mudguard out...

First paint done, HURRAH!...
Whilst I'm quite pleased with the finish, the attention to masking off the chrome powder cost was slack resulting in a dry feel all over and overspray behind the bridge piece and the number plate areas inside the seat arch
Not the end of the world, but does anyone know how to remove this? I tried thinners on a test area and it turned really sticky very quickly...
