You're missing the point, Mr Traindriver wants to ride along at 60-70mph with the engine barely ticking over while he daydreams about deltics.
Hence the small carb and the standardish exhaust.

How do you work that out? Looking at adams dyno chart it will rip your arms off until 6000 rpm then it peaks and falls off. Might work if you threw high gearing at it and it could pull it OK but I don't think it would suit bags on the back touring like Paul wants to do.

I'll say it again, people are missing the point about this engine - it's got a small carb that sips petrol, a standard looking exhaust and it's putting out the power you'd expect from an off the shelf TS1. It's not about high HP and torque, it's about power and torque right through the rev range, no changing down for headwinds or hills. Sit in 4th at 40 waiting for your mates to catch up then wind on the throttle and it pulls away, no dropping down to 3rd looking for a powerband.

I am sorry i can't give more information
but i left my old rapido 225 with mark and said call me when it's done
Italian Li150 box and 17/46 but mark tells me it should pull 18/46
so it will do what i wanted be good on fuel, cruise at 70-80 and be reliable

I would like to add i didn't just leave it I emailed a few times a week every week and even though he was very busy with other customers engines, developing and testing new products mark always had time to answer
