May be a bit of a numpty question but
Why does the barrel look rusty it doesn't look like an imola ali barrel that has done very few miles

Yep thats brickies barrel not mine..mine has come through without a scratch....so just the piston to do...one thing at the head there is clear brown engine use but around the sparkplug area clean as a whistle... is this just clear due to combustion or is it air leaking in past the sparkplug?

So how about the old "get you home" a bolt with Hermatite in the hole...Then fix it dear Peter..
