I've used one for the last few years abnd have just TS'd my ride.....hope the reverse pull will stop the bloody thing as I can't afford the disc at the moment!!!!!

not sure,but i think it says on the lcgb web site that reverse pull,is only suitable for the cable operated disc brake,if you do it on the drum set up, it can cause the shoes to jam and lock up the front wheel,definetly saw it some where,as was going to use it on mine,proceed with caution,cheers all.

Only likely to happen if shoes are well worn or set up badly adjusted.

Never!!! use reverse pull on a Lambretta drum brake. The reason for the introduction of the Disc brake on Lambrettas was to prevent riders falling off when the drum front locked up. The Campag discs weren't more powerfull than the drums, they just had better feel and were less likely to lock. A well set up drum as described above will easily lock the front wheel or even produce a stoppy but the feel is bad and you're likely to lock it up. The main problem with lambretta front ends is th excessive dive when you apply the front brake. The only safe way to cure this without placing the links under excessive strain is by using progressive springs and an antidive front brake. Dampers should only operate in rebound or the links may break.
