IT175 - Might also be a good piston choice for converting say a rapido 200 barrel to reed valve if you can find a cheap source? Is the piston skirt length Ok for this?

ive got a dt175 piston but dont want to move the rings

bought a Yamaha IT175 IT 175 '76 - '81 Wossner Racing Piston Kit thats moly coated on the skirt - hope it is ok (£60 instead of £120 for a wiseco one)

i assume you dont have to move the rings on the it175 piston??
