it was easier putting the bolt in from the front whilst holding the pipe in position.
at the rear I put everything loosely together, then tightened the rear chaincase bracket first, I replaced the supplied bolts with some 6mm stud, which made sure it was going into the chaincase ok.
I had to cut the right hand running board, around the bolt bracket, but this is inside the panel, and I also trimmed the back edge of the running board, although as the can is so far back, there was more clearance there than on other pipes.
looks like a well made exhaust, and sounds nice, quite deep and not offensively loud to upset the neighbours.
Thanks for that Jarv, was it the new version of the JL3? I have heard that they have improved the fit and the rear bracket?

it was brand new, from Readspeed I think. this was on a Mugello [v.3]
