That`s stunning. Really clean and tidy. Love it. What`s the story with the rear hub that`s hung on the wall?

Off the sprint bike happened on the return road at Santa Pod just after a 100 mph run.

without doubt,.......stu,s "100 mph lambretta club" dealers specials are the tops..........
great spec,attention to detail..........and built by a pro............what more could you ask for...............?
for full" comprehensive" spec,look under the "Dealers" sticky.......
and i would like to add..............what a really good full spec sheet this really is........
how often would you get carb settings/spec from elsewhere...........as well as much else.........

yes without a doubt the gp is definately well prepared and must be one of the nicest looking scooters posted,just how i like them,
does the anti-dive kit work?
what wrong with the front wheel?i cant see anything out of place.

Just to add to Stuart's rear hub complete with 'lightening hole'.
I had exactly the same East Kirkby NSA 1/4 mile Sprint about 4 years ago.
Got back to the paddock, having just done a 96mph terminal speed, and wondered why the back wheel seemed to be moving about as I was riding back down the return road.
Whole centre boss had sheared apart from a section that was about 1'' (25mm long).
Kicked the back wheel and the whole lot just collapsed.... nice.
Hub was only 3 months old.
Needless to say it made me think ....
Why did it happen? - well on a road bike it probably wouldn't have.
However, when you go off the line in a sprint or drag meeting the power will always go the weakest link - normally the transmission at the moment- but on this day, like Stuart's, it was the rear hub's turn
Now I only use Series 2 or Spanish Hubs - more robust centre bosses.... dead easy to get hold of, of course!
