I think the tips and alternative ways to do things are the best, especially for those that don't have access to specialist tools. One tip would be the height that the endplate studs, chaincase studs, etc should protrude from the casing. Perhaps a few more mentions of certain recommended products (J B Weld, Devcon, etc.) would help in the publishing cost dept.

I'm looking forward to this new edition and this one will remain in top condition sans greasy fingerprints

It may become a lounge table classic

P.100 the 12v speedo light bulb doesn't act like a simple regulator and absorb any excess electrical power, it was only fitted to provide a soft backlight.
P.101 A non battery Indian ignition switch fitted to an Italian machine will work fine (rear light still works off the pilot light circuit in pos. 3) but the headlight will need to be changed to a 35/35W.
P.110 On an original GP Electronic stator the green doesn't connect to earth.
P.215 Diagram of 12v conversion, red wire to rectifer is shown in the wrong place, it needs to be swapped with the brown on the left.

(The haynes manuals are rubbish.). So please consider doing something with a similar lay out for Piaggios finest in the near future.
There is a PX version mid-way through production as well, but it's on hold until the Lammy one is complete.
Halelluja, I was going top suggest that too

You can let you ex squeeze you all you want mate. Don't let the present one find out though.
I don't have a MK1 to hand SD, but is there a write up on J range differences, namely engine stuff for tuning purposes, in the Mk 1 or the MK 2?

That's in the 3rd edition.
