I mounted mine in the same position as the ones in a number of brand new SIL motors I saw - can't remember exactly what they were but they weren't as above, in fact nowhere near :?
I don't know what's right or what's wrong and I can't tell you if mine vibrates like hell or not as the GP's not on the road ...yet :oops:
I just got a new SIL motor and noticed this too, the mounts are not fitted as per "stickys book".
We bought six motors at once so i must have a look at the rest of them to see what way they are fitted.

yeh it's more like 11ish and 1ish. the just of it is the right side holes should point up, the left side holes should point forward.
