after one photo you said somethng like ....its noticable here the difference between a road and race scoot geometry ,or something along those lines....
What is it exactly...?
am i missing something matey...?

i,m also holding my breath and waiting for that reply from you as to a certain bit of info paul...,or should i forget that i even asked about it even though you said you would provide it when your scoot was dismantled....

Longer shocker = more ground clearance in corners, steeper front end rack, very slightly shorter wheel base??

What sort of adverse reaction would it have running that sort of set up on a day to day runner..we could all do with better handling on the road..?

nothing special then, just what most folks do on road scoots...

Well, assuming that's what Paul's talking about, it would expect the steeper rack would help it turn in quicker (if necessary on a scooter), with a shorter wheelbase making it more lively/twitchy/nervous......... big gains from understanding spring rates and damping (both types).

sorry fellas.... i missed your points
yes.... longer shock to raise the back end...
i just thought on one of the pics the back end looks high... might be more the camera angle.
My road scooter has a shorter rear spring and yes,...... theres a definite difference in feel.
If ever you get the chance to see some of teh front running Gp 4 scooters the geometry is differnt to a standard Lambretta!
