Yep, but it is easier if you retain the plate with small bolts with 6mm head. At least you can remove the plate while the engine is in situ. Retain the plate with screws and you'll never get a screwdriver in there to take them out without dropping the engine.

I am compiling a list of irritating problems and a solutions at the moment.

I've used Alen screws and have a small ratchet spanner that you can fit an Alen bit in to loosen off/tighten ;)

Easier to place/remove if before fitting the engine you put in two M3/M4 studs, slide over the two plates and then tighten with plain M3/M4 nuts...
Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, loudly proclaiming: "WOW, WHAT A RIDE"

Yes, but if you have an untouched motor you are working on and the motor isn't going to be dropped, you still have to deal with the flat blade screws. I just got a very short stumpy screwdriver form Snap On that fits in there. Easy job. Then change out for bolts.
That's not going anywhere...

I picked up a tiny screwdriver and bits set which has a right angled arrangement on one end, I think it was from a Pound shop? it gets those screws out easily but you do have to keep moving the bit round in the holder.
