Mr Ed, I took the lever off the master cylinder of a new brake kit (as the unfettled one had gone walkabouts) so it should bolt straight on without needing any modification.

You can strip the black ones to bare alloy by putting them in a container and covering with thinners and leaving for while, then scrape the soft paint off with a blade, done one tonight. Would still rather give Martin £6 for one though
