You are absolutely correct. I've had 3 bad ones in a row. I'm using the one with deep grooves in it now. We pay close to 100.00 US and then the cost to powdercoat. I'll be using SIL pones from here on out. Unless anyone has a load of NOS serveta ones.

Having said this, I bought an Indian Uni onefrom Andy Francis at Brid___£38.50 which was slightly cheaper than the last FA one I bought. Now I haven't fitted it, or used it, but the finish and quality of the Uni hub is miles better.

The way it is looking at the moment it would seem doubtful that they will make any more SIL hubs. :o

LOL but it's coming true!! I'm sure some dealer will get new ones cast that are stonger like the Serveta type.

All the German BGM stuff is made in Tawain!!

Pay a little more and get a Uni hub from MB,believe me, you'll save yourself a load of hassle
