How To Remove f@@ked Endplate Stud?

It's the thread on the stud. Going to try to get a nut welded on.

try and heat the casing around the stud and as its nearly cool spray some wd40 around it it might just suck in there a little and help free the stud ive used mole grips before to remove studs but you need to be carefull as you might snap it off also filling a flat on each side to accept a 6mm spaner might work again go slowly when im at work i always use heat first even just to soften the oxide that might be between the 2 objects

if you weld a nut on put your spanner on it to undo and apply a little preasure say with just your thumb and get some one with a center punch or pin punch and small hammer to strike the cente of the stud a few times this might just "shock " the stud enough to get it turning, if using a socket make sure its a 1/4 drive as you need some touch sensitivity when your doing things like this , oh and good luck

i use to use something like this for both insertion and extraction when building radio mounting frames i used a speed brace for insertion and a tee bar for extraction

Sorted. A mate came round with the welder and welded a nut on the stud. Got the stud out with ease.
