Weird petrol tap problem

I've been looking on t'internet but can't find it. Yes standard (8 litre) tanks 3 litres (res) with a fast flow so on a 12 litre it must be close to 4 litres..
I was shocked to find that out about fast flows, thought my standard sil was giving TS1 economy..
