Again a good old Indian flywheel saves the day !!!

SIL flywheels still my first choice ( welded and lightened)

Welded? To strengthen the center boss? Is it common for them to come loose?

And dumb question, can old points flywheels be used for electronic ignition? I have kicking around here.

Yes if you use an external pickup like the Anthony Tambs Scootronics kit.
