am using a late loose 3rd pacemaker gear (same as spanish li 150 3rd gear btw) on an early xmas tree on a TS1

had to modify the xmas tree to allow the teeth to mesh but it has been fine for the last 1000 miles

I've put a 3rd loose gear from SX200 in my early pacemaker gearbox. The top-end is a TS1 225. still standing after enough miles to break. Always keep in mind that 3rd "could" snap and caution will come as a natural reflex :-)

Yes indeed, it works for Vespa's to switch gear-cogs with or two teeth more or less, so why wouldn't it with Lammy's. It worked for me so far.

Mike.
I like your thinking.
I shall see what I can get hold of.
would the Li150 37 tooth 3rd gear also work I wonder...?
