I can understand buying the cylinder and head if its for authenticity of the scooter reasons.
Using all TV parts on a TV or SX parts on an Sx.
So 110 is probably not a bad price.
I know a lot of people like cast iron barrells as well.
Certain i saw an advert on fleabay a few years ago for SX..rust !!!from a petrol tank.
To me it was a tongue in cheek advert.....but cannot help but think someone would of bought it!!!!!

I suppose if it's outrageously expensive there's cheaper ones to be had............anyone know where ?
Bit of a sellers market i suppose and if you're doing an authentic re-build then the costs have to be paid....still seems a tad dear though......could have got a set of panel embellishers for that money

Yeah i realise that Eibar

I was refering to Gary...bidding up to £110 pounds for the head and cylinder.
No way on gods earth would i pay 510 for a standard cast cylinder.
I would opt for a gt..or possibly consider the avanti or ts1.
I know mick1 absolutely loves his avanti and rates it highly.
On my eibar s2 i have a 200 rapido road. I like cast iron cylinders. Easier to repair.. If i dont sell but at some time decide to redo my s3 servetta i will go gt 185. I like the idea of a cast cylinder and reedvalve.
Now looks to be a very reliable proven piece of kit.

It's nice to be original. I get that. But the TV200 isn't even a good barrel and the porting is very poor. I probably wouldn't want to use it for any practical purposes. I had a lot of trouble with mine. In the end I took it off and now run an RT225 kit instead. It's a huge improvement.

Untouched Innocenti 200 barrels do still crop up fairly regularly but you need to keep an eye open for them and know that you're looking for. At the same time, you sure better know what you're looking for and have a great deal of faith in the vendor's accuracy and knowledge if you're going spend £500+ on one, hoping that it is genuine!

I'd ask the proposed £500 buyer if they knew how to check

If the answer is NO, then I might have 10-15 genuine barrels that I can sell them!
