Watch what crank you buy- sometimes the casings need a trench put in them to get the crank to fit (My MEC 60x110 did).
Have look at wasp performance for the Dellorto
I'm running a similar set up with 30mm delly, my gearing is around 4.9 and pulls really well up hill and into the wind.
I have a 4 plate clutch with MB springs and it deals with the 18hp fine
Have a search on here you will find loads of Carb set up details.

Yes I forgot to mention if your going for a 60 + stroke you will need a trench cutting in the case I paid £25 to have this done so not really a big deal although if you get an MB crank they tell me it will fit straight in with no machining.

RT195 with a BGM v4 for standard looks as I don't really fancy an expansion. Then go with a 28 delly open mouth, 60-110 crank and 16-46 sprocket. Does that sound doable to get the best out of the kit?

I'm no expert, just some geezer whose built a few engines, but yes that sounds good to me.

Run with a breath sweet filter otherwise you’ll end up with petrol all, over your floor panel and wear to your barrel, or maybe a stone gets sucked in...🙈

24 Dellorto through a remote filter, V2 MB big bore, MBD 5 Speed, 60/110 crank.

GPS at 70mph

Not the fastest bike out there but it's rock solid

RT195 with V3 BGM, 58mm Stroke MEC Crank, BGM Stator with Agusto 7000 retard, 28mm PWK (128 main / 38 Pilot / JJH Needle at T4) with Breathe Sweet on an elbow as it spits oil everywhere.
Went with 15/46 and LI150 Italian Box to start with, 5.21 final ratio, revs to 8000 rpm quite happily. Found to be a bit revvy around town and cruising at 55mpg is at 6000 rpm, tried with 16/46 for 4.89 final ratio but wouldn't pull beyond 6000 rpm in 4th.
Plenty of discussion with MB, reluctant to change my 16 tooth AF cassette clutch so went back to 15/46.
Will do approx. max 75 on GPS.

First build with 1mm squish, failed a piston ring peg.
2nd build with same BGM piston at 1.3mm squish.
3rd build with Meteor piston at 1.3 mm squish.
MB recommend closing this back to 1mm, so will do this with a ring change over the winter.

Anyone running a Dellorto 22 on an RT195? I know people want to default to a 25+ but it’s piston ported and I’ll be using a Clubman etc
