Not had a chance to do any measuring of the panels yet as too wrapped up in stripping the thing down. I have measured the frame loop from the the bottom rear to the bottom front both sides and they are both 75cm which suggests the loop is straight. I'll try to compare the panels tomorrow

I have eventually got around to look in a bit more detail at the fitment of the left hand side panel. I have discovered that the handle tube or bracket is approx. 15mm out of line. Measuring from the bottom corner of the panel to the centre of the handle tube on the panel that fits it measures 71.5cm on the new TSR one it only measures 70cm. This obviously means the roller is 15mm too far forward making it impossible to engage. Unfortunately my son has damaged the box they came in so I cannot return them. I wonder if this is a one off or if it is something anybody else has come across. I will have to see if I can find someone who can put it right for me as I do not have the equipment or know how.

I agree, contact the dealer you bought it from but if all else fails you could always get the bracket attached to the rear of the hoop cut and extended by the required amount.

I bought mine from TSR 9 years ago and they didn't have handle tubes, they were a copy of the last LI/SX panels without the tubes.
