Would love to fit a garmin, or even my mobile, but haven't seen a cradle suitable for fitting to a Lambretta! Have I missed them, or are there not any out there?garry inglis wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2017 3:41 pm Garmin forerunner GPS

Firstly undo the drive gear at the wheel and withdraw. Tap the drive spindle so it's squarer and tighter and then a good fit for the inner.
Reconnect with the olave. Now with block under one stand foot spin the front wheel and check that the cable rotates at the headset.
If you still have an.old end of speedo inner put this in a drill and push into speedo. Turn drill on in reverse and check to see if needle is stabe.
I can move mine forward by 60 miles in an hour.
If it is not stable then consider tinning the end of inner and get some solder on there to ensure a good fit. It's often down to a poor fit here.
The position of the olave and the depth that the inner goes in (sometimes too far and sometimes not far enough) is imperative, hence taking headset off and spinning wheel.

This is what you want. It screws in to one of the screw holes on the handle bars. I used a small bolt. Make sure it's not to long other wise it will foul the throttle rod.Martin20 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2017 3:58 pmWould love to fit a garmin, or even my mobile, but haven't seen a cradle suitable for fitting to a Lambretta!
