Do they give a torque setting for the large centre nut,because it loooks as if it wasn't tightened enough and has come loose causing the hub to rock on the splines putting pressure on the nut and causing it to damage the lock ring.

I'm wondering if the shaft ran up against the bottom of the nut, therefore not being fully tightened against the hub, but "torqued" up ok.

also 50nm is only 36fbt when we are normally 120fbt on rear wheel

I deleted the pics.
It looks like we all have no Idea as to what went wrong here, but I have an expert on the case now.
If my expert cant find an explination this will suddenly spring to life again.

120ftlb? Must admit I haven't got to that stage on my build but seems rather excessive.
