Float valve, leaking or damaged float then.

It won't be that then don't think the jettex is a bad carb I've used a couple of 22mm and once jetted correctly they are great

Could be electrical ? Have you tested the stator ?

I had this problem once when out on a Sunday afternoon ride. On a right hand turn it cut out. Found the choke plunger spring had broken so it allowed fuel to come out of the choke jet. This filled up the breather pipe so when I turned right the fuel ran down into the Jetex and flooded it.

I've checked the stator right ohms etc and checked the choke see no joy
