What did you dremmel , how much etc? Did the MB wheel stop you jumping out of gear without modifying the sliding dog? Surely it will still hit if the travel is still the same inside the gearbox/casings to get 5th.
So I'm not technically minded  and cant do anything to a scoot underneath the engine cover. If I was riding in5th with hands on gear and gripped hard any slight movement, bump in Road, or two harder a grip and she would jump out of 5th. It was easy to push back. I fitted a larger brass year wheel just as an upgrade (bit of a sucker for new bits) and it cured the 5th from jumping. I have no idea why

Fixed. Ground off a little on the Stirrup/wishbone as recommended on here and changed from a GP end plate to an Li type , a channel had to be ground from the end plate as the 1st gear was catching when endplate tightened up and gearbox locking. This was done with a flap disk rather than a hard type disk and polished down roughly the circuference of the 1st gear when held against the end plate.

Fitted mine 2-3 weeks ago, of the trip to the MOT station & back (before my stator packed up) it seemed like an LI150 box but with 5 !

Have a variable ignition enroute so I'll get a few miles in soon!

No Fettling required.

^thats the one I've just fitted was a little surprised the ribbed side didn't have oil slots in them, perhaps an expert might know as to why?

Think I ended up 20-47.
Works out final ration 4.57.
