I don't know if this is any help to you but I initially ran my gt186 through a modified airbox. 4 x 32mm holes drilled in the aft side with a bgm high flow filter. Swan neck removed but I doubt it mattered with those big holes in. Tino ancillotti.

It made 10bhp.

Changing to bgm clubman and 30phbh with marchald air filter increased this to 13bhp. Note that the blanking plug was loose during the first dyno session so there was a big leak/ reduced compression.

Hendy,

Thanks for the info, which introduces an element of measurement to the discussion, which is good.

What you've posted is good and it should be remembered that power is not all about BHP alone. Indeed, the 'seat of the pants' feeling of power on the road often comes from the ability to have 'some' power available at any/all stages of throttle progression, rather than a lack of power if you crack open the throttle and nothing happens because you're out of the rev range!

Let's hope that we can get some more dyno figures from forum posters.

Thanks again.

this is the dyno with tino ancillotti and 25 phbl. very flat power with reducing torque. As you say Adam, this configuration was responsive throughout its range but was certainly not a thrilling ride.
