The numbers look raised to me.
the way the light highlights them.
They look welded on. But i would not of thought it possible to weld that accuratetly.
unless someone has braised them on.
but if you were taking that much time and effort...you would surely just have stamped them on.
Just my thoughts....other opinions are available.

It's the same with this oil thrower washer http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lambretta-Dri ... Sw44BYmdt5 some see it face down, others see it face up.If you examine the shadow you will see that it's the dished part facing up,but if the shadow wasn't there it would be very difficult to tell which way the washer was facing.wrecklessrobbie wrote:The numbers look raised to me.

Just had a look at the washer , first time it looked face down then as you say looked face up , trick of the light/photo , i had this a while ago with a photo of a piston posted on here when i first looked and made a comment , then when i looked again realised it wasnt as i saw it , shadows in the photo made it look different.HxPaul wrote:It's the same with this oil thrower washer http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lambretta-Dri ... It's stamped, depends how you view the light and what your brain makes of it.
