Well clear anodising.. I plan to blast the cases but as it's then raw material it's open to corrode. Anodising will stop that from happening.

my case is 47 years old it ain't corroded; does yours need anodising cus you live by the sea?

A rather damp area with lots of chemicals in the air. There is a big difference between an original case surface and one that's been blasted. I'm only thinking of it as I can have it done for free.

If its only anodising,just tape the stud.
