As Doom says Ankor Wax will buff up to a dull shine, but with this product you really do need to work it in and buff up to remove any tackiness, otherwise the dirt will just stick to it....but at least that way you're guaranteeing it won't be shiny.

I think after all that lot I'd probably say feck it and take it around the blasters.

Acf50 and a rag
I have been using it on an original Lambretta with tatty paint for 3 years and it isn't deteriorating.
Just do it regularly and watch the overspray as its a little oily.
