I would be happy if i didnt to be honest but what dhould i do then... stay on rotary valve ? Open the engine to port the intake on the rotary pad ? Timings etc ? I would rather not go reed. Thanks for the reply.

As always it depends on what you use the scooter for. For me the only benefit of reeds is that a bigger carb can be used. A P200 rotary pad can be made big enough for a 30mm carb, so if you don't need a carb any bigger than that then you don't need a reed block. The rotary timing depends on the rev range you want to work in but will need to be done together with the crank and some careful measuring. A 60mm crank is rarely a wrong choice though.
