its a hunk of alloy i had my mate machined and tapped 4 holes for grub screws. My old one was made from a block of wood araldited to reservior lid. You cant beat a bit of hillbilly scootering

Is this so you can richen the Scooter when gong full gas on the motorway?

Thought so, we used to fit them to 2 stroke MX bikes for the long straights in beach races.
I just hold it flat out and press the kill button on the lamby if I think it needs cooling off a bit!
I can see its a good idea,
