They are designed so that they can be quickly removed to access the headset, they are attached using cable ties, no reason why they can't be used on a permanent basis as Coaster does?

Also for anyone that is interested they are currently working on C2C screens for PX and then S2 Li and Scomadi, so with any luck my S2 will have one in time for next year's rally season

You seem to have answered your own question:? :?

I've had one on my Jet which also has the hexagonal headset. I have a permanently wired in Garmin Roadrunner GPS speedo which I have mounted inside mine and the screen keeps it dry. The cable tie securing method is a bit crude but if you use the re-usable type it makes it easy to take off and replace by the roadside. £39 is a good price, I broke mine and had to replace it earlier this year and paid £55 :(
It said LI last night which is why I was asking.

That might well be what prompted the idea in the first place but no reason not to use one on a more permanent basis. My first one was on for about 3 years before it got broken when I had a minor off  but it was proving more than capable of surviving day to day use and doesn't look like a Mod accessory 8-)

What are the benefits of these screens.

I can see Coaster has used it to keep his sat nav dry, but all I can imagine is that the wind and rain is directed into your face.

True, the cable ties are not a perfect solution, something with thin shock cord might be better.
