Cheers guys, ordered the Scootopia 22mm this afternoon so should (fingers crossed) be up and running for Saturday. Every time I changed jets in the SH1/18 I noticed a very fine black powdery sludge in the float bowl so this evening I've had the tank out, hand full of gravel bit of fairy liquid and given it a good old shaking and rinced it out several times in my shower, got loads of s**t out then dried it with a hot air paint stripper and put some petrol back in.

Hi . I have just bought a scootopia carb & have the same problem with it not clamping down tight on the manifold . This might sound like a silly question but how do I get clamp off the carb . I want try a later type clamp
