I had mine helicoiled and they didn't last - they cracked down the side of the bolt. Ended up having them ally welded.

I've helicoiled the the chaincase bolt that holds the exhaust tailpipe on,I did this a couple of years ago and the exhaust has been on and off quite a few times since and it still tightens right up.
