Guys, about 8 of us going, but agree there's a concern about the fuel shortages. We were hoping it would be over by now, but the French are 'hard nosed' and keep at it, so we could be in trouble for the run I guess.

Guys, I had trouble fitting a 6305 drive side main bearing as its real tight into the case, despite freezing it and warming the case so your spit boils. It may have also gone in a little on the skew, so I retracted it with the lambretta tool , which pulls on the centre of the bearing. Would it be ok to re-use (its new) and is there a 'top tip' for putting these in easily ??

Now resolved, same bearing back in, but bot was that tight and on the calipers same size as the one that came out. Is there a tool available that lines up the bearing from the crank side and gently pushes it in from the mag side to properly align it ? Getting it squared up firstly with the hole seems (for me at least) always to be an issue ?

Always makes me nervous that bit !

Amiens.. Be a shame to miss but dont want to risk abandoning scooter there. Long range tank gets me there but need a refill.
Also a job getting honest up to date info.
Gonna post up on the Rally section on LCGB

AND whether you can just merely change these for the bigger type ?

Thanks
My old 1963 TV200 had the old style mounts fitted from new, I'm fairly sure the later type are a straight swap but happy to be corrected.

Coaster... can you be 100% sure? Considering that the TV175 III made the change to larger mounts and the TV200 came out after the 175, it doesn't make much sense for any TV200 to have the smaller mounts.

Never say never with Lambretta though (make a good catchphrase)!
