wise words, I'm a confirmed credit card tart and transfer my never decreasing balance from one card to another. However I would like to not completely saddle my children with my debt when I die so I do occasionally try to exercise some restraint when looking at scooters, records and going out (chasing girls in other words

Thanks, that would not surprise me. If anyone has read my post on my exhaust and the air leak I think i would still be looking to buy a down pipe and crossing my fingers that it fits before I went down the route of buying a new one of these..HxPaul wrote:Having had no experiance of the Scootopia exhaust I'm afraid I cant do a comparison.I have heard that the KBA clubman and the AF clubman are made in the same factory and apart from having the respective names stamped on them, are the same exhaust. This is just what I've heard and have no proof of this, perhaps a more knowledgable person than me can say whether this is true or not.

From your needs:
1. Not cutting runners
2. Budget
3. Bit of grunt
Given that youre running a slightly ported sr175 with that gearing Id say the KBA is the way forward.
Less than a £100 and the exact same as the AF clubman (Richard from Bedlam once found the manufacturer slip in a box of AF clubbies he got from AF, rang the company in India and a deal was struck, KBA are the initials of the daughter of the Indian manufacturer)
Almost any single expansion (that's not a snail) will need a trim of the runner.
Possibly a MB clubman will be marginally better than the KBA but then you'll be spending about an extra £100 for it.

Thanks, having a quick read on it but it does seem to have a few issues on the GC which would wind me upmick1 wrote:The TSR Evo Expansion has some good reports, ground clearance being the only issue I've heard of. Maybe a bit more fun than a clubman.....
