Disappointed with BGM fitment.. Another job for the drill
had the same problem with a mugello and was cured with the swan neck although they should allow the mugello option when ordering. The exhausts are well made though I have to say that it didn't perform as well as the ancilloti clubman although that did snap at the mount due to it not fitting the muggy properly either.

FYI - I've recently offered up my first BGM clubman to assess fit for an iron 225, based on a SIL 200 barrel, and I was amazed at how well it fits. Although the U-bend was a little tight on the stub, I assembled it together without trying to make any adjustments and found that it went on without any issue. Having not even tried to adjust it one way or t'other, I offered the bolt up to the underside casing point and the bolt immediately found the thread and went home! Considering that the hole/slot in the bracket is not very big, I was amazed that this fitted/aligned so well.
After reading some of the other bad press about these pipes, I was more than a little apprehensive and was expecting to start extending slots and tweaking angles but I couldn't have been more wrong... straight on with zero bother.
No idea what the pipe performs like yet.

Same here. I've fit a few of them and no problems.
In my experience they peak out at about 8k rpm

8K sounds ideal for my plans.
has anyone fitted one of these with a 110mm rod and packer? mines got a 2.5 pack and 2 gaskets so bought one of these as the standard clubman will not go back on. did not have much luck with trial fit, is there a correct order to fit i.e box first or last, to go last the hanger needs to be fitted to box first surely? fitted my other purchase a casa curly which is not really suited to the engine. both these exhausts have stubs that do not fit any barrel i own until the dremel came out. i thought with the adjustability of the mbgm fitting would be a breeze. i was mistaken.

60/110 MERC crank w/2mm packer on a dl125 block
Early RT195 (modified the exhaust side fins to clear the stub) with V1 BGM Exhaust.
I fit everything loose and work it into place, making sure nothing is binding up. Pretty much like anyone else would when installing an exhaust.
Stub, header, hanger then box.
