The same company had a DL200 for sale for $20,000. Some serious collectors in the US, salaries are generally higher and the dollar is riding night at the minute against the pound. However, the scene is smaller.
The US also seems to have quite a few low mileage barn finds and the weather is sometimes kinder here, especially out west.
IMO, the right scooters, ideally unrestored TV, GP, SX, GS, Rally's will hold their value and even appreciate over the next 10+ years.
